计算机大佬CMU CS硕士项目大盘点 之 【人机交互系】项目解析

上次小助手带着大家盘点了CMU的计算机系、机器学习系和软件研究所的硕士项目。今天我们再来说一说计算机学院下的。

       人机交互系 Human-Computer Interaction Institute  

✅  HCII下面开设有四个项目分别是

·  Accelerated Master of Human-Computer Interaction

·  Master of Educational Technology and Applied Learning Science

·  Master of Human-Computer Interaction

·  Master of Science in Product Management

AMHCI是提供给CMU undergraduate HCI majors的两学期项目，想必绝大多数同学是不必考虑的了。

✅  MHCI（Master of Human-Computer Interaction）

作为CMU的交互热门专业，MHCI依旧是跨学科、为期三学期的项目，官网介绍说“Each year, cohorts are made up of richly diverse student groups with varying degrees of industry experience and backgrounds in design, social science, business and computer science among many others.”，因此可以看出，本科背景是设计，社会科学，商科的学生都可以转专业来申请MHCI，其他学科也可以包含认知科学，行为科学等等。MHCI包含7门核心课和4门选修课，毕业生会从事UX researcher, user experience designers, product managers, product designer, interaction designers, software development engineer等等。

✅  MSPM（Master of Science in Product Management）

MSPM是17年开设的为期一年的STEM项目，由Tepper商学院和计算机学院合办，毫不夸张的说MSPM的学生可以共享CMU的HCI、CS和MBA的资源。这个一年的课程由core learning，实习和capstone组成。正如官网所述“Our students typically come from a technical background in computer science or engineering; some also come from marketing, finance, and other disciplines.”可以说这又是一个根正苗红的转专业项目。毕业后，学生更多从事Product Manager、Technical Product Manager、Senior Product Manager等等。

值得注意的是，申请时该项目有面试要求，要求的两位推荐人也最好选择能体现工作或领导力的人选。
